The Nolan is influenced by the early 20th century prairie houses of American architect Frank Lloyd Wright. This spacious four-bedroom home exhibits a striking and bold exterior through the use of 50mm bricks and a rhythm of rendered feature pillars.
The high ceilings and spacious floor plan create a sense of tranquility and airiness throughout the home, which contributes to the relaxed, lived-in feel. The home features all the requirements for contemporary family living, including a multitude of storage spaces, walk-in-wardrobes, an internal courtyard, and an additional study with its own semi-ensuite that can easily be used as a spare guest room.
The ‘internal’ alfresco, accessed from the living and sitting areas, seamlessly integrates the indoor and outdoor spaces. Three different walls feature glazed doors that slide into wall cavities, where they can be easily hidden away. The usual corner support has also been removed, adding significantly to the open-plan living of the house.
