Building a house is never easy but we were in very good hands with Glenvill from start to finish. We knew we wanted to custom design our home to make the most of our location and include all of the must have features we wanted. We knew from Glenvill’s long history, that they are well known for their innovative design and quality homes and found it a huge benefit in being able to view some of their other homes under construction to see the quality and finishes for ourselves. The in-house Architect came to our site at the beginning of the process to truly understand the location and maximise the site we were building on. From here we worked closely with him in understanding our vision and creating our dream design – his attention to detail and invaluable suggestions along the way were outstanding.

All of the council, planning and permit stages were handled by Glenvill which took the stress out of the journey. Working closely with the in-house Interior Design team was a terrific experience; they listened to what we wanted and perfectly completed every last detail of our home, making suggestions to ensure we were getting the finish we were after.

Our building Administrator and site Supervisor helped to guide us through the build process and we would regularly attend site as we eagerly watched our home materialise from a vision to a reality. We couldn’t be happier with the end result and love our family home.

Finding a reputable, experienced builder was important to us when deciding to embark on the journey of building our Mornington Peninsula holiday home. Given the complexity of the site we wanted an architect and builder who would understand and handle the project from conception to completion. Many architects may create a beautiful design but lack the understanding and experience of the buildability of it.

We knew the build wouldn’t be without it’s challenges but are ecstatic with end result and love spending as much time as we can here. Our home is an entertainers dream with open plan living that spans out onto a beautiful outdoor entertaining area. We love to get the woodfired pizza oven going and entertain with a gorgeous view and killer sunsets.
