Our Bentleigh show home is a modern residence designed around natural flow and thoughtful planning for modern family living. In collaboration with Amphis, this home demonstrates how lighting, interiors and spatial design can work together to create a home that feels connected and welcoming.
With its open-plan design, our Bentleigh show home features elegant, curved walls and ample windows to showcase the surrounding environment.
Soft oak, warm stone and tailored joinery set a sophisticated approach throughout the home. The texture and tone of every surface were carefully selected to create a harmonised and inviting environment. Thoughtful lighting enhances these choices, ensuring that every curve, detail and material is experienced as intended.
In the dining area, a cluster of Amphis’ Kann pendants defines the space, doubling as a sculptural focal point. Soft sand tones complement the interior palette, while their gentle glow creates intimacy within the larger open-plan space.
Striking a balance between intimate lighting and practicality, the kitchen lights are precise yet minimal in design. Track lighting provides focused illumination across the island and cooking areas, accentuating the stone surfaces and refined cabinetry while reducing shadows for prep and cleaning.
Moving into the living areas, the atmosphere shifts from functional to relaxed. Soft wall illumination, cast by Bellucci up lights, gently lights the walls, creating a calm ambient glow. The indirect light complements the minimalist palette, highlighting clean lines and neutral tones without overpowering furniture or artwork and contributing to an elegant yet inviting atmosphere.
The curved staircase is one of the home’s most striking features. Suspended within the void, an Oberon pendant light draws the eye upward, emphasising the vertical scale and geometry of the space. Integrated step lighting adds warmth and safety, showing how transitional spaces can be elevated into considered design.
The Bentleigh show home is a reflection of design and light working in harmony. Every choice from materials to lighting placement has been made with intention, creating a home that is warm, functional and visually striking.
Collaborating with Amphis while designing this home allowed us to showcase how light enhances each space, bringing every interior detail to life.
